I've Only Just Begun
My journey began less than a week ago and I'm already slacking off. I do apologize, I just couldn't find the time to post last night between doing nothing and oh yes, doing nothing. Never fear, I do plan on posting tonight, it may take convincing Justin to force me to do it but it will get done. Now if only I can convince him to force feed me a ton of vegetables and my daily vitamin instead of letting me eat substantially more than the serving size from a bag of Totino's Pizza Rolls.

The Journey Begins
I started this blog to help keep me motivated during my long weight loss journey. I figure if I have a fun way to track my progression I won't be as likely to quit as I would if I were just counting calories on a piece of paper. Of course, I'll be counting more than just calories but saying calories, carbs, trans fat, and saturated fat is quite a mouthful, or in this case, an eyeful since I'm not actually talking.
I'll officially be starting my journey on Sunday since I seem to be mildly obsessive when it comes to beginning something like this in the middle of the week. Until then I'll list a few facts to sort of give an idea as to where I am now and where I want to be.

- Weight: 235 lbs
- BMI: 40 (Obese)
- Target Weight: 135 lbs
- Target BMI: 23 (Normal Range)
